When: 6:30 pm / 1st & 3rd Mondays of every month. 20 min presentation/ 20 min Q&A.

Where: Malama Maunalua Community House. Find us in the Kahala Whole Foods Market in-store seating area.

What: A Free community series to provide current information about Maunalua Bay and what the community is doing to help restore it to health. Topics include reef restoration, ahupua`a management, cultural treasures of Maunalua, water quality, current stewardship programs and much more. No reservation required but come early as seating is limited.

Topics change monthly--Drop in or attend regularly. Maunalua Mondays are free

Memories of Maunalua Fish Pond

Dr. Joseph Young and Dr. Alfred Yee are true island boys at heart who grew up together and are also St. Louis Alumni Brothers. Dr. Young's father "Young Fong" ran the fish pond from from 1937 - 1947 and also resided there with his family. It is a special place where the Yee and Young families enjoyed crabbing and playing together in their youth when life was so simple and pure - Both families have remained the dearest and closest friends for decades.

Please join us for a very special power point presentation by Dr. Joseph Young and Dr. Alfred Yee.
