Support Our Coral Restoration Efforts!
Adopt-a-Coral
We are outplanting locally sourced, thermally resilient corals to restore Hawai’i’s coral reefs. By planting corals that can survive warming waters, we are protecting our coastlines and ensuring that future generations can enjoy these dynamic ecosystems.

Our Impacts
What’s New with Mālama Maunalua
NOAA has awarded $8M to fund several non-profits and restoration organizations in Maunalua Bay.
The project utilizes a traditional ahupuaʻa framework to manage an entire watershed to address multiple marine and terrestrial issues in the urbanized region. Its collaborators drew inspiration from the historic ridge-to-reef methodology utilized by Hawaiians to address modern habitat degradation and human encroachment in the Maunalua Bay region.
It will include native plant reforestation, ungulate removal, green infrastructure installation, stream rehabilitation, and restoration with resilient corals identified from the bay.
